During filming of content for the next season of Mythbusters this past Tuesday, a small error in calculation has caused a cannon ball to stroll through the small Tassajara Creek neighborhood in Dublin, California.
The Mythbuster's crew was staging a shot at Alameda County Sheriff's Department bomb disposal range, a facility which they have used over 50 times in past episodes. The shot was to be used in next seasons episodes. The a small error in calculation has caused the cannon to launch its projectile past huge containers of water, skipping off a dirt barrier and flying through a Tassajara Creek home, bouncing off another's roof eventually coming to rest in a mini van over 650meters away.

The Mythbusters have filmed countless experiments without issue, most of which have included some sort of explosion. In the word of caution, they're adequately insured for such experiments. Unrelated to the Mythbusters, the same bomb disposal site had a launched a stray .223 calibre bullet into a nearby home in 2007. Perhaps its time to decommission/reevaluate the site as safety concerns must be on the rise.
